3D Design Deck Monthly improvements

Hello everyone,

I am the owner and creator of a company called 3D Design Deck. We 3D printed 1:400 and 1:200 model aircraft. I design all the models myself, and my wife and I produce them.

I want to use this thread to get opinions from the community on our new models. Every month I’ll come back here and post questions and ask for opinions on random things, and you as the collector let me know what should be improved or fixed.

I’ll also post progress on new moulds asking if something correct (first thing I plan to post)

Most issues with a model can be fixed in less than 10 minutes, so if you see anything let me know.

Thanks for the help and happy collecting!

In the process of the design I realized that the old design had a number of mistakes and small miscalculations.

The new file isn’t perfect by any means but it’s definitely a significant improvement.

Our last design had some problems with the tail shape, this design I traced multiple images of the real aircraft and took the average angle and height (to accommodate for different camera angles)

(Also we are going to make flaps down + reverse thrust variants)

let me know from the photos provided what needs to be fixed. Sorry about the dust on the computer screen.

Looks pretty good.

Here are my two details to correct.

The 737 has krueger flaps inboard of the engines. Not leading edge slats as in the rest of the wing. In other words, the leading edge surfaces inboard of the engines don't slide forward they open up from below the wing.

And the rear bit of the fuselage leading to the APU isn't as curved down. It does have a slight downwards bit but it's hardly noticable. The rear elevators are too low.
