Hello. The purpose of this airport will eventually focus on modern day movements with a small flow of international destinations for passengers as well as a focus for cargo movements.

In the meantime, I want to go back in time once again with a main focus on key dates based on movements from Doncaster airport since it opened in 2005, although some movements will not focus from Doncaster. However, I do wish to showcase some models even before that time on this diorama. The main focus will be that of cargo.

We start with a general observation of the airport itself and a visit from Cargolux B747-400F LX-ICV City of Ettelbruck in July 1996

Amazing layout, great details!

That is a really nice amd realistic layout. Look forward to seeing some freighter movements.

Dragon made some great 747s but you're right sometimes they printed the cockpits too small.

Outstanding display, I really like your cargo terminal!
Thank you for your appreciation. The Herpa cargo centre seems to accommodate quite nicely.
Very nice is that 747 1:500 ?
As the others have stated, it is a Dragon Wings 1/400 scale model.
Amazing layout, great details!
Thank you my friend.
Looks very nice!
Thank you.
Oh, and great to see you here Adam! Your clean layout looks really good, as always!!!
Always a pleasure Leo. Thank you.

Thank you Richard.

Great storyline you have going!
Thank you.
Really nice 2001 update! I like the Air Hong Kong, that seems like a nice model!
Thank you. I don't think the Air Hong Kong B747-200s will stay in my collection much longer to be honest.
Cool to see how you include some unique carriers in your airport
Thank you.

On 6th November 2002 we had a night stop visit from this FedEx DC-10-30F N98FE which would then continue on ferry flight to Venice

Really like that you have a background image for your airport, makes a huge difference!
Thank you. It certainly does.
Epic heavy showing!
I do appreciate my cargo heavies.
