48,95 euros ? I found JC Wings 747-400s that sell for the same price... in 1/400. And why would such a model be a club model anyway ? It's a fantasy model, has no extra details... In what world does Herpa think people would pay such a price for a fantasy 747 ? Maybe if it had the EXTRA DETAILS like CLUB MODELS USED TO it would be worth considering but for what it is it's too expensive. At most it should have been a standard release. I know it's a corporate order but come on, Herpa can do better than this. And aside from the collectors who are interested in fantasy models, I'm sure a lot of people would like to use this model as a donor for making customs but at 48,95 euros, it's too expensive for that right now.
Here an example how i prefer Herpa for some models. Two DAT MD-80s, the Sky500 "Coca Cola Fifa World Cup" and the Herpa "hybrid" without sponsor but in DAT logo on the tail and the engines.
While i don't like the advertising Sky500 model i extremely love Herpa model even if this mad dog no more flies because the farewell was performed in 2021.
Both moulds are very nice and even about the livery Herpa seems to having found the right shide of red, green and orange/yellow.
