1/400 Scale 3D Printed Airbus A320 (or similar)??

Hi All,

I am fairly new to this forum but really enjoy reading and seeing what everyone is up to. I am in the process of making a model of LCY: London City Airport. I am making it be static but with lights and sound, will be popping it in a picture frame so it can be hung on the wall.

I am looking for some 3D printed Airbus A320 aircraft (or similar) that I could glue to the model, as I don't want to really glue my expensive diecast models to it. Can anyone recommend a supplier, either here in the UK or someone that ships to the UK at a reasonable price?

I have tried to make some of the paper models from Little_Airport but they are too small and fiddly for my fat fingers, therefore thinking 3D printing is the way to go.

Since the demise of Shapeways, whatever is out there seems to be 'download and print your own'. There was a designer called wwwitalik on Shapeways who had a vast range of 3D printed aircraft in a variety of scales including 1/400 and I'm sure the A320 was among them. He's on Cults now with a much reduced range, but it might be worth contacting him there.

Okay, many thanks for that. I don't have a 3D printer so really looking for someone that could print and ship.

That is an extremely good question? I just like this aircraft! Could be any similar size. Can you suggest where I could get something?

Sorry, I don't know. I was just curious as a 320 and LCY don't go together well.

Indeed... I think the A318 is the only Airbus A320 family aircraft which operated in LCY
