Hi everyone, Im starting this thread to start my journey in 1:400 custom models. Today, I made my first custom model using decals from V1, and a 3D printed base.
The base was printed using an FDM printer. Anyways, here is the first custom, the start to all of this:
Canjet 737-800 C-GDGQ.

I will add gear and spray finish tomorrow. I will also be posting all my future customs here.

im gonna start posting all my stuff on a fresh thread so for updates on stuff check this one out :)

Would love to know the details on your 3D printing (e.g., what kind of printer, process, etc.)
hi, I use a Prusa MK4 printer + a 0.4mm/0.25mm nozzle and print on PLA
I model everything in blender and use Prusaslicer.
I have recently bought a 0.25mm nozzle and made a 1:400 Q400 with pretty good details but that is on a seperate thread

C-FAFE Fedex Feeder Canada F-27 using the Aeroclassics mould, V1 Decals
These aircraft from Fedex Feeder wore many liveries at the time so I am not sure whether this is truly what this aircrafts real livery looked like. I currently have another one in the works which will either be another Canadian reg or an American reg.

C-GFCP Air Canada Tango 737-200 on Aeroclassics mould, V1 decals
this was the second custom I made on a diecast model, it was a fairly simple one but looks great nonetheless.
The nose gear is missing from the model but that can be easily fixed using my 3D printer.

Great ones! Wonderful job in the 757 and I like the FedEx F27 too!
AC Tango B732 looking good aswell. Maybe a cockpit window replacement and the new nose gear will make her look even better!

Thanks!
The cockpit windows on the AC Tango were done in a bit of a weird way, I cut them in half then applied them... for some reason. I already put clear coat on the decals but I'll probably make a second one since I'd like to begin collecting more AC Tango models someday.
