Yeah you did! I thought we would be getting a lot more of this era content wise when NG released this so I figured it wouldn’t be a crisis if I missed out on this one.
I unfortunately am starting to come to the realization very quickly that I will need to spend $120 for that U.S. Airways A330 by NG and any NWA 757 from 2021 as I am having great doubts we will ever get this kind of content for a very very long time.
Seems like the 1996-2010 era of U.S. aviation has been completely forgotten about in this hobby... Total shame because arguably we had some of the liveliest livery A/C fleet combos! Then I'm stuck paying $120 for a release that's older than myself.
Very cool duo! I have thought about acquiring some AC 757's but was super hesitant for the obvious concerns others have mentioned. Funny that Aeroclassics used this mold but have nothing good to say about NG.
I hope these new A320 series 1:200 molds are new because their current rendition is horrendous... There were a lot of complaints about it at AI2025 on the Delta Centennial livery.
Unfortunately, Euro white is the fix for high fuel consumption and weight savings in today's industry... The 90's and 2000's were a different time and much more colorful for sure!
I personally find JC's business practices of offering pre-orders as unethical and borderline malicious... Selling products that don't exists with no guarantees of a release schedule is wrong in every way.
That’s not the point. If you have an opportunity to create a new livery it would have been nice to see an airline move away from Euro white given that most airlines are using a form of this in newer liveries and it’s lacking creativity. The current Alaska livery is not Euro white anyway even if...
I agree they should make the whole Alaska fleet the same given that this is the clear goal for the company. If they could learn anything from Delta is that you don’t mess with brand continuity if you’re trying to represent a premium brand. I.e. no special liveries unless there are very specific...
I believe using the Aurora on the new scheme was the right call given how symbolic it is in representing the state of Alaska and Pacific Northwest. I do believe moving away from Chester allows Alaska’s branding to grow into a more globally recognized brand. The only issue I have is they decided...
