HX Models - News & Discussion

The "N742PA" also seems to have the title "PAN AM" larger than the first HX version with the shiny engines.
That's because it's a completely different livery! This is the 1976 scheme not the 1970 livery or the 1973 livery ;)

Changes were:
  • Larger black PAN AM titles using the modified font with less spacing between the letters
  • The blue cheatline terminating at the radome on the 747s
  • Clipper titles in a script font
  • The flag on the tail enlarged and slanted

Hoping the new nose gear doors and modified wingroot made it to these releases too (as seen with the Cathay special -8F and exclusive Swissair 747-300s), bit uncertain with the Delta and ABC as they were already previewed in production months ago 👀

Regardless these will still look fantastic 👍

None of the first few approved CRP wishes have been produced so far
Wrong. Yam Dreaming 787 rerelease, Boeing 747-400 prototype and if I remember correctly, Singapore Airlines 747-400s in the Tropical livery were all part of the first approved wishes and NG released them. That being said, most of the first approved wishes are yet to be released but saying that none of the first approved wishes were made is wrong.

Delta 拥有与“已批准”的 NG CRP 愿望相同的 Reg。
HX的调节器就不能有所不同吗?!
After all, NG’s wish list is just for other manufacturers to use as a reference, hahahahahahahahahahaha. I actually thought NG would be unveiling some new products at this Beijing show, but it turns out all they brought was the B-1111. Have you ever seen a “limited edition” model limited to just 1,000 units? NG’s standard production run is 1,000 units per batch… It’s been 10 months since NG last exhibited a bare-hull model of the A340-300 at the Shanghai Model Expo. d92b6702-7299-455a-a9dd-cc9c1b82e985.jpg

It went on sale on Taobao this morning. I plan to buy one first to try modifying the airframe number. I’m not sure yet if modifying the tail will cause the paint to chip, but if the results are good, I’ll buy a few more to expand my Delta Air Lines fleet. After all, I’ve been waiting a year since I first heard this model was coming out.
