    Panda Models November Announcements

I’m sure if one looks hard enough there will always be imperfections, but Panda is as reliable as it can get in 1:400. They benefit from not being your average market flooder like every other well-established 1:400 brand (something has to give when so many models are regularly pumped out), and...

Yu ModeL New Airbus A300 First Look

Nevermind, it's a great time to be alive. The more you know... The E-175 only had outboard ailerons, and spoilers were also used for roll. The 763 is an antique, even when compared with the A300-600, so it's got both...

I see what you are saying. Where are the low-speed ailerons on the -600 then?

    HX/Patriot 747 Landing Gear Needed

First point of contact should be your retailer. Which model was it, if you don't mind me asking? I know the first batch of SCAs had a major epidemic of broken NLGs. Ever since, all others have been good. I like the new ones with the removable landing gears. Talk about peace of mind...

Brick and mortar stores in New York City

I have to visit Greyland again. When I went they only had GeminiJets, JC Wings and Phoenix. They must have made some significant changes.

Show Your Latest 1:400 Purchase (Shattered Dreams)

Actually, they do. It is very common. They are also easy to miss. Sometimes I do double inspections, once when the models arrive, and then again when I ship them. In one of these instances, I caught a missing tire on a model that I had already looked at once. Panda is notorious for missing...

Brick and mortar stores in New York City

IIRC, The Airplane Shop only carries licensed models, no? So, not only overpriced, but a dull selection, too. Similarly, Grayland Station only carried brands distributed by ADI when I visited in 2021. Although I recall someone here saying they have a wider catalog now...

Brick and mortar stores in New York City

Miami is an aviation mecca. It says a lot about how niche and cost-prohibitive this hobby is when Miami is left with no stores. Then again, I don't want to sound too pessimistic, with e-commerce there are stores in virtually (pun intended) every city 😏. I ship quite a bit to Miami, I am sure...
