Jets for Execs: NetJets Wishlist

This thread is for my friend @AviationJay🛩️ who loves his bizjets! 😁

3D Design Deck has stormed onto the scene, producing types that don’t get a lot of, if any, coverage in 1:400 scale. This has enabled new operators to be covered, most notably — in my opinion — NetJets. We haven’t gotten any proper QS releases before, so their models have been a welcome addition. They currently operate more than 800(!) planes, all of which are bizjets. So far, 3DD has released three NetJets planes on two castings with possibly more in the works long-term.

It will certainly take a while for the entire NetJets fleet to be produced, but I look forward to the progress made on this production. Let’s run through the current NetJets fleet.

Embraer Phenom & Preator
Starting off we have the very little birds, the Phenom and Preator. Only the Phenom falls in their Light category while the Preator is listed in the Midsize category.

Cessna Citations
Citations are the most popular with NetJets — they have about 400, nearly half the fleet across the 560 XLS, 680 Soveriegn, 680A Latitude, and 700 Longitude. The Longitude is classified in their Super Midsize category.

Bombardier Challenger 350
The Challenger 650, featuring the CRJ-200 winglets, is good to go, but I’ll be looking forward to the Challenger 350 or 3500.

Bombardier Global Series
The Global 5000 is good to go. NetJets also has the Global 5500, 6000, 7500, and 8000. The 6000 is marginally longer than the 5000, only a couple feet.

I can’t wait to see the NetJets fleet grow over the coming years. What other types would you like to see, maybe ones that NetJets doesn’t have anymore?

I’ll be trying to eventually make the whole fleet. There is 1 more coming very soon on a slightly different design. Then I will be trying to run the 350’s later this year at least.

This was a very interesting topic to go through so thank you.

Also a lover of bizjets and, my claim to fame so to speak, live where NetJets is headquartered, so this thread is absolutely my flavor! Thank you for putting together this list, I hope to see these releases just as much!
