I thought I saw YV400 say he was going to try and get them, but not sure if that’s still the planAre any US retailers going to be carrying any of the A300s?
American 3DOuch. That's got to be the worst print alignment ever.
Undeniably soI mean... This is still far more impressive than the Aero classics version even with the print issue on the American titles. This is still a huge step in the right direction.
I need to see some better focused photos to make up my mind on it. I personally like the chrome being painted vs polished... It gives the model a grittier look which in my opinion is more realistic with some of these older AA birds.Definitely a step in the right direction but I wont be buying this one with the glaring mistakes. The misprinted titles, odd metallic finish, and overspray looking paint line on the aft composite tail cone area are too much for me
I could probably be convinced on the finish but the title misprint and this awful paint line at the aft fuselage just ruin it for meI need to see some better focused photos to make up my mind on it. I mean like I said I definitely think that they are a step in the right direction but unfortunately for me this model does not pass the test, independent of what Aeroclassics does. I do think that Yu has a superior mould however and less complicated liveries should look great - I for one am super excited for the Continental meatball release. I also really hope for a future AA release that has the printing mistakes fixedI agree that's problematic... I would like to see a focused close up to judge just how bad it is. Given that this sounds like a new startup with limited resources I am willing to give it a chance as I have found many errors I have had to put up with when it comes to Aeroclassics that are just as egregious with no apology.
Hi Guys. I have been in contact with the owner of YU on and off over the past few months. Just for context the factory he is using for the printing is new to 400 scale and the resources of YU are dramatically lower than other brands. I have helped him with some artwork checking historically so hopefully art errors are limited, but I know for example that he has himself been assembling the models for the first releases. Obviously, money is tight and progress hasn't been as quick as he'd have hoped.
As I understand two models (not the AA above) are nearly ready but in small numbers only. They will be followed by re-releases with better print quality.
What I have seen so far is promising and as @MIAv8Diecast says I have seen worse quality than these photos from major brands! None of this is meant to excuse anything - just inform as to current progress.
