Apologies for bringing a dead thread back to life but thank you to everyone who had provided input regarding this matter. We're pleased to announce we have now set up the infrastructure for accepting pre-orders at no charge until the pre-order ships. Free pre-order cancellations can also be done right up until the model has been charged/shipped. So for those who want to reserve a model and change their mind after seeing images come out or similar this program will work great for you.
Your pre-order confirmation emails will have links to manage your order (before you are charged/the order is shipped) including: canceling your order, changing your payment information, or changing your delivery address. All this can be done instantly without having to send us an email or otherwise get in contact with us and wait for a reply, etc.
Once the order is ready to ship you will be charged for your pre-order and the order will be fulfilled as normal. The entire process is fully FTC-compliant.
How does this sound compared to the previous pre-order method of paying in full when ordering?
