Absolutely stunning and incredibly realistic. What a fantastic work!
Each picture really look like a real airport, not a diorama. Congrats! This is so cool to see.

I personally love the pics of the planes taxiing near the beach. The sand and grass look really nice!
:p:p:pTHANKS SO MUCH!

Impressive pics! The scenery is simply wonderful!
That MD-80 is a custom model, right? Very nice work!!!

Love the diorama! Much prefer dioramas rather than model airports. The attention to detail and the realism of the layout truly shows off the models. Well done on yours!

What's the difference between these?
Huge difference. A diorama focuses on recreating a realistic scene, whereas a model focuses on a scaled recreation. Although both can share these aspects - dioramas emphasize more story telling and artistic effect and models, on realistic structures and accurate porportions.

Airports are incredibly large, so doing a model of one is not easily viable, unless space and resources are non issues (see Brian Keene), but for most, a diorama is generally smaller, and better highlights the realism of today's models.

My two cents anyway. Thank you for the question @LeoMuse747

i disagree solely on the basis of a model airport needing to be large, and dioramas have more story telling. in my opinion it comes down to whoever is making these things but i do agree there is a difference between the two. congrats to @Steven G on this incredible diorama!

I said airports are large, not model airports. Hence why dioramas are more practical.
