Taiwanese 747s

I posted about the EVA Air 747-400 a few weeks back but it has now been joined by a 2nd Taiwanese 747 - B-164. I hadn't realised this model existed until I saw someone post about it on Facebook, but it can be found on Taobao. It was made for Albatros of Taiwan using the HX mould. Albatros don't make a lot of 400 scale models - it seems they more regularly make 200.

It's funny, when you browse for China Airlines old livery models on Taobao the Taiwanese flag is hidden, but I didn't expect it to be also covered up in real life, both on the box and on the model.

Fortunately, it hasn't impacted the model itself, which is very nice and comes with collector's card.

and with the EVA:

It's a beauty, but the cockpit windows seem to be a bit too high (just like the Cathay specials 744s).
After all, this is one of the earliest 744s from HX, so it is normal to have the problem of windows being too high.

However, I will order Kylin Models CI 744 instead. After all, I believe the new CI 744 will improve the windows problem.

I think the Kylin one is all flaps down isn't it?
