The shape of the windows look great to me. Phoenix did a great job. Better than JC Wings, with those oversized windows.
However, it seems that PH placed them too low

I originally order the JC version, but since they never came up I ask my retailer to switch to NG with me paying the price difference.

Just received the Panda Models 1/400 Jet2 A330-200. I got it for only $25 on the Sprue Brother’s Amazon (really cheap panda and phoenix models but mostly asian). Amazing quality! One note is the engines are plastic and pretty flimsy.

I had a package arrive today containing my long-awaited copy of the Virgin Australia 737-800 with scimitars by NG. So glad to finally find one of these as they have managed to evade me since release. The hunt is not over though, I’m still looking for the non-scimitar version!

Here are my newest arrivals, I am getting mainly old releases recently, with very few exceptions:
- Furthest is the Cathay Pacific L1011-1 VR-HHK "Green Lettuce" by NGModels. The model came with both wing and horizontal stab on the starboard side slightly loose. However, it sure stands on the Top Release of the Year for me!
- In the middle Hainan Airlines B737-800 with Split Scimitar B-1786 from NGModels - a really nice addition to my Chinese airlines collection. I got the last piece from the shop (again).
- Closest to us is an aircraft that is recently reactivated - XiamenAir B737 Max 8 B-1136 "2000th Boeing in China" by JCWings. I don't know whether it was just me or the nose was too pointy. Nevertheless the PM option looked skinny (which doesn't quite well resemble the true size of the Max) with higher nose gear - yikes so my choice was this JCW (also the price was lower). When I bought the aircraft remained stored and just grace the sky only a few days before. This is also my first JCW B38M. My aim is to build Chinese airlines passenger fleet revolving around narrow-bodies only!

Though not having bought many 2023 releases, I must say some of them are really tempting to me. Nonetheless they did not rank high enough for an instant buy but would be saved for later.

Two new NG arrivals for me. The fantasy British Airways Boeing 777-300ER in Landor scheme, and one of the new Icelandair Boeing 737-9Max fleet in the lavender colour highlight. I note neither was supplied with a CRP card or they've been removed by dealer.

McDonnell Douglas MD-11 N111MD (first MD-11 built) from Phoenix
FedEx DC-10-30 N318FE from Aeroclassics
N318FE is the last DC-10 I saw before FedEx retired all of them at the end of last year

Nice models. That N111MD ended up going to FedEx as N601FE. It was retired and sent to VCV on April 30th.
