Hello from Singapore. I have just visited Airplane Model @ SG. A week or 2 before, my friend DTcustoms asked the info about the store for a friend of his (it was actually @YankeeVictor ). I knew this store for a long time and got 2 orders from it (1 bought directly at flea market by my Mom and one order shipped to Vietnam). Only this time that I had a visit to the physical store. They have great amount of stock - which is surprising for a store that opens only at weekends. Currently, they have a 10% sale program which lasts till the beginning of July. If you want to buy from the store be sure to hit them via Whatsapp. My haul for today only includes 3 models:
- NGModels Jetstar Airways A321neo
- PH LATAM B777-300ER
- NG Shandong B737-800
(for my growing Chinese fleet).

I got back to Vietnam yesterday and today I got the chance to unbox them all. First is a starboard side shots of 3 models:

Then the port side:

Lastly the LATAM (since it was out of focus on the other 2 pics):

That concludes my visit to AMSG! I am very pleased with these additions! My Chinese carrier fleet is expanding at an rapid rate.

IMG_0479.jpegThis one also landed today but deserves to be on its own topic. This is just one heck of a masterpiece!! Really stands out of all models that I have(+250) and have to be the absolutely highlight of the year! I love this one alot. Thank you NG Models for making this one in such a high quality🙏🏻

The NG Cathay L-1011 has definitely been the highlight of 2023 so far, there’s been so many great pics shared of it but here’s mine, absolutely thrilled with it. Still digesting that along with another very recent addition, the Air Malta B.732 from Aeroclassics. This was one I was waiting ages for, in the 70s/80s c/s, so very happy to see this finally made, and received a decent copy thankfully. It joins a B.707 in the same scheme. I’m pretty sure this is inventory still clearing from the previous factory’s production cycle, and we’ve yet to see the 1st production runs coming from the new site. Hopefully there’ll be a positive improvement to the finishing processes/consistency going forward🤞

Just got the Gemini Jets Delta 757-300. Amazing model, but we really need to discuss the GJ quality control. I went to a physical brick and mortar store to get this one, and they had just had a shipment of 4 come in from GJ. So, they went to the back and got one out. It had a broken nose gear. Big deal, they still have 3 others. The next one comes out with a fully detached wing. Then, finally we find one that isn't broken. So in total, we needed to look at 3 models for one that wasn’t broken. Hopefully, the one other isn’t broken, but I don’t have high hopes for it.

Anyway, here’s the model:

Super glad to pick up these two beauties. SprueBrothers have these "old" panda model (essentially just NG) airbuses for sale at $25 a piece on Amazon, good chance to pick some up if you need.

I have seen Sprue Brothers pop-up more and more in 1:400 searches. Good to know they are an option.

I love the NG 737s!

Very happy with these latest Phoenix models that have just landed home.

Regarding the Air India 747 : is it perfect ? Nope

Is it the horrible 747 model based on a supposedly horrible mould that some people are talking about? Not at all !

I feared the worst before it arrived and I have to say that it is a very worthy model and that it has surprised me for the better.

The LH A340-600, is close to perfection. IMG_2747.jpegIMG_2748.jpeg
