Love your SQ models!

Have you ever ordered online from Airplane Models @ SG? My experience was awful when ordering models online. Waited 4 months, got very few responses when asking, and eventually got a refund through PayPal. Quite disappointed as they were some rare models.
I've actually had a similar experience. I emailed them around two weeks prior to my trip, but never got a response. AMSG is heavily focused on their physical store, with their online side missing most of the sweet stuff they have at their warehouse. Discounts are limited to the physical store, and the website also recommends that you pay them a visit. Totally worth it if you're in Singapore, but I'd look elsewhere for online orders.

Here is the Ilyushin! I don't post as I thought many would dislike due to the ongoing situation. But for me I collect aircraft the way I like and not for politics.

Besides last week I also received Lufthansa Boeing 747-8 new livery by GJ from a friend of mine as he is getting the PHX version. The real aircraft ABYC has not received the new livery yet. But hopefully will be soon. A virtual custom would make this one realistic.

Those are incredible! Don't worry about what is happening in the real world, what matters is how well the model fits in your collection!

It's a lovely model! And tell these people to GTFO. Models are models, they are completely unrelated to real politics.
Thank you Leo for your reply. It's great to see collectors value the model for its beauty and not due to the ongoing politics. As I saw some members have sour words on Russian releases very recently, I thought it would not be wise to post the Rossiya IL-96.

I agree with you Oscar. I remember when this model was released in the early of this situation, many collectors used it to replicate the real movement. And I thought due to politics this model would last in stock for really really long. I was wrong as all major shops in US or Asia had all their stocks sold within a relatively short period of time. Luckily I found this model still in stock at the same place of Amazon 767 so it is an instant purchase from me.

p/s: I tend to look at all the stocks of the shop to combine shipping. The shipping and model price, if exchanged ti my local currency, are high.

I have been looking for the best Boeing 777-300 mould for some time, and Aviation 400's 773 comes closest to perfect. Their first renderings were good but some releases had blunt noses and APU issues.

Careful research was needed to determine which release was not affected by the over polishing issues. Lucky for this Canuck, Air Canada was one run that came out unscathed. An added bonus on this January 2022 release, was the improvement to the APU.

Thanks Aviation 400 for the updates, now if you can add the anti skid mechanism to the underside and improve the engine pylons, I'll be even happier.

Here's Air Canada's flagship Bandit looking positively fiendish coming into its gate...

This one is based at PHX, occasionally flies down and around YUM, my hometown airport.
I was going to say this. I used to fly for Mesa and spent a lot of time in Phoenix. I used to see this aircraft a lot. I contemplated getting this model because of that.

Been having a busy month lately and has significantly reduced my purchase. Scrolling on FB one day and somehow find these secondhand models on sale at a rather reasonable price - so here they are.
The 2 777s originally should have come with a PHX CX 777-300, but the seller somehow has already sold it to someone else when I express my interest, so I miss the chance to snag it at a bargain - heck they sure are hard to come by:cry:

Gemini Jets Emirates A6-EHJ - Am I the only one finding this outdated mould to be used on a 2018 release to be an absolute disgrace.:cautious::cautious:

I feel like having an obsession with 77W to the point that I think I can start making comparison LOL:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Beautiful! Been thinking about getting this one, I might get the recent JC Dreamlifter to go alongside it as well.
The Beluga's super satisfying to play around with due to the chonkiness. I wouldn't be surprised if NG attempts a Dreamlifter, given their willingness to try out unique variations (Beluga, 757 Honeywell testbed etc.). Of course that'll probably release when the 777-8 enters service...

2 new arrivals for me today, coming from different sides of the globe:
- Fokker House livery F-70 by Bluebox (JCW mould - gears are better than the recent GJ/JC lineup). I ordered this one last September and it was cheap even with its shipping price (USD28 shipped to Germany). Unfortunately 10EUR tax is adding the price up. Shipping for Germany to me was cheap (around 4USD). (Direct shipping to me would cost 28USD). The model came with its orignal outside plastic wrap so the seller may have not inspected the model. Thus it came with 2 loose landing gears, and phew...not broken, an easy fix. I ran out of superglue so decided to hold it up first with double-sided tape.

Here it is when it arrived.

Far behind we have Aeroflot Ilyushin IL-86 RA- registered from JCW. An absolute banger release from JCW. The red paint on the tail is not perfect but overall a great addition for me. I might do a comparison between this model and GJ's iteration (CCCP- reg). I can spot many differences between these 2 already. I hope JC would use the IL86 mould more.
