Some new AV400 arrived...
First up one a livery that was long sought for - Air Canada B777-300ER C-FIVS "Vancouver 2010"

Then come the A340-300 pair:
SWISS HB-JMJ "San Francisco"

Cathay Pacific B-HXG "Oneworld"

Generally good models until you get some other models side by side and realised the artwork team seems to drink a liitle too much...
Swiss - with Phoenix standard HB-JMH - Notice how dark the red is...

Tail -

My annoyance is that AV400 did manage to get a lighter color few years back when they release SWISS 77Ws - which look much more accurate!

Cathay - with Phoenix standard B-HXO

Tail -

Proportion of the brushwing is the crucial part that determine the overall execution of the livery - and somehow AV400 failed spectacularly - too narrow and throws off the balance...
Finally AC "toothpaste" with you guessed it - Phoenix standard "tooshpaste" 77W C-FNNW

Tail -

My concern lies on the shade of green that AV400 picked for the base - looked a bit too deep as AC "Toothpaste" goes - but hey, at least the tail details looked somewhat better than the older PHX...
In short - Hey AV400, please get a grip with your color choice!
