You are correct, that area is pretty good. Is the nose cone being far too low the issue, which is accentuated when a cheatline is present. Looks like it is sniffing something on the ground. As you said, does not spoil the model too much, but come on...

Really hope they get the nose and cockpit printing fixed for the classics.

Yeah…

I was pretty happy with my Pan Am SPs by NG, until the ignorance bubble in which I was floating popped…

Now even a first gen GJ looks better (nose, that is).

Pretty big offense, it sure takes NG out of their pedestal and places them down with the masses.

Thankfully I’m still in my bubble of ignorance… I sold my first gen Gemini Qantas 747SPs and 742s when my NG arrived, thinking that the other 747 classics from NG would be just around the corner. Yet here we are, nearly 3 years later and the classics are no where to be seen.

Well, I just checked at Jetcollector (where I got mine from) and Waffle and it's gone. Eztoys still has it listed: https://www.eztoys.com/last-ever-74...863gt-die-cast-phoenix-11787-scale-1-400.html

I would imagine Waffle will get more at some point.

Seems like besides Eztoys it is gone from all U.S. retailers that carry PH??

Phoenix's 747-8 doesn't suffer from the same nose issues that their -1/2/3/4 do.
