BRO! This aircraft looks wonderful! This gives me a lot of confidence to purchase a bowling shoe one. Actually, what's the difference between the two? Also, I want to purchase Il-62M.

Here is an example of my GJ TWA Gemini MD-80.. As you can see the nose feature looks a bit squished and much less refined.

I would also like to point out as I have mentioned before the singular antenna Gemini uses on the top of the fuselage.

From the pictures it looks like one has the Northwest/KLM Logo and the other does not, if you look next to the titles you will see it.

In my opinion it looks much better than the JC offering, so I believe the Northwest versions will be just fine.

PHXs updated MD-80 is definitely the second best available right now - looking at this photo. More photos are welcome - if we can request @DTcustoms to source more!

Gj/JC can eat dirt with their ugly snout of an MD-80 that they refuse to update. Lazy.

Nice to see Soviet models in 1:400.
East Line also used Tu-154s and Il-86s, one of the many airlines creating after the dissolution of Soviet Union and Aeroflot (Soviet Aeroflot).
So the beautiful Il-62 for me.

As far as i know the Il-62 never worn East Line latest livery. The first non-livery was Aeroflot hybrid with small East Line written on the fuselage, then the dark green with the largest logo on the fuselage. Latest livery was the light green with a stylized logo. Among the many ex Aeroflot Soviet airlines, East Line has always been a niche airline, sometimes operating charter flights to western Europe holiday airports (Faro for Portugal 2004 FIFA Soccer Championship), Salzburg, Barcelona, etc.

The East Line IL-62 is a very cool release! Some of their planes have even visited Brazil back in the days

Phoenix continues to have good release variety. I will probably never pick up an East Line IL-62 but there are definitely many collectors delighted to buy one. Hoping that other retailers take notes..
