Phoenix November 2024 release hints

However, LTU fared quite well in NG's wishlist system. Phoenix shouldn't give up that easily.
I'm sure my opinion isn't representative, but while I'd love any of these LTU, I'd only spend money when they are done on the best moulds available. So even if Phoenix has some nice and well made subjects, the inferior moulds rule them out for me.
My todays buyings basically depend on NG's release schedule with a few others like Panda here and there. I'm hoping for their M11.

It's also perhaps the aircraft type-airline combo , in addition to what @Phantom mentions about the mould quality. Like there's not many mainline European airlines that flew the Tristar, as such, LTU becomes an iconic operator of the type, and thus the love of the airline and type combo, and thus its popularity amongst collectors.

Phoenix's 767-300 mould is fine. So LTU süd would look great on that mould.

But I understand where you're coming from. And, by the way, their LTU A330 has severe colour issues (grey) so that might explain why the model is not selling well.

I'll see how the Saul Bass 767-300 compares to my Gemini Jets and Dragon Wings versions. I'll probably buy it although the polished belly thing doesn't make much of a difference here. The pre-delivery United 767-200 would be a much more suitable candidat for this kind of treatment. A pity Phoenix don't have a 767-200.

Moreover, JA795A has the new ANA Flagship configuration (with The Room and The Suite). You can see the windows configuration which is different from the old ANA configuration.
JA795A is also one of the latest 77W, delivered in 2019
Right. Just noticed that. Really intriguing the sets of 3 windows

Would you be able to post the PHX release / reference images ? Thanks

Peeps are gonna be really happy with the KE A330s! With NG's snubbing of Korean wides
I'm in two minds - this or wait for NG's (whenever if ever)

Similarly with A7-HHK. I have the Panda version in the current scheme. A340s must come my way haha.Have joined a Wish of the same reg / scheme over at NG - but it's only garnered 5 votes. Let's see hmmm

Definitely picking up the il 96 & the Saul Bass

Great to see Phoenix releasing these Asian models in high demand, while NG completely ignored some of them (at least for the moment. We'll see how it goes with the Voting system).

I believe the Phoenix will be superior to the DW and Gemini versions.
Phoenix 767s are quite nice actually. I have an old Dragon version of the UA 767-200 in Saul Bass livery and it's lovely, though. Despite that, I still think Phoenix is better. Indeed, a pity Phoenix don't have the B767-200.

Finally ANA 777-381ER 🇺🇸🇯🇵! JC Wings going to regret not having release JA795A in 1:400 while they made a 1:200 version (which sold pretty well). Also, the Air Canada 777-333ER is a great aircraft, especially the toothpaste livery even if C-FIUR has the new one.

Thank you Phoenix!

I feel happy for you!
You're always wishing releases of those 777s with different configs lol I'm glad you finally got something. :)

Off topic: Prior to the delivery of their first Boeing 767-222s United Airlines were experimenting with a bare metal belly on several aircraft types. The first two 767s were also painted in this scheme but were repainted into standard colours shortly before entering service.
