Which is why sometimes I'd rather make a custom of the crazy expensive model. And if I don't keep it it will probably still be cheaper than those prices. If not the same, but atleast I get the exact airplane I'm looking for. This doesn't apply to people who collect based on the actual collectible value of the model as a particular release not for the airplane from an aviation standpoint. I feel it would affect that kind of collector the most.
