OMA Omaha Eppley Airfield, Concourse A.

I did this same concourse back in the early 2000's. I wanted to do this again, considering the airport is revamping concourse A and B into a new design with additional gates. This is a true Heart-of-America classic terminal that deserves some attention. As sad as it is to see it go(or as it's gone now), I'll be keeping some of it with me. Here's some info. on the concourse itself.
--The South Terminal, including Concourse A, includes gates A1 through A10, baggage claims 1 and 2, and serves Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Frontier Airlines. Gate assignments: Alaska Airlines (A9), American (A6-A8, A10), Delta (A2-A5), and Frontier (A1).

Below attached: satellite image, areal image, satellite print-out with measurements and the 1:400 tarmac start.

I'll keep the images flowing if I get some more time to the diorama! Thank you all!

Looking good! Last year Frontier was parking at A10, but I’m guessing they moved due to the construction. Allegiant was the same deal as they’re now at the B gates.

Here's an update:

I haven't had much time with work and all, however I've had a few hours to complete concourse-A aircraft placement markings. These have been a real challenge, considering the difficult angles, old/ new markings and variation of jet engine to aircraft sizes(white/red lines). This is all hand drawn. Again, this is one if the more difficult ones I've worked on, but none-the-less fun. I'll post more as it progresses!

Great stuff, as always!

Very fun project! This was my first airport job as an intern working for that airport, love to see your progress photos!

'nother update...

Next step this week(if I have time) I'll matte clear coat this and it'll be ready for a build.

A little update from today. I managed some time to begin the outer structure of concourse A. I'll post more when I get to it. Thanks again from everyone!
