Here's the list of August NG 400 scale releases. It seems they rebranded the July hints as August on their website so there won't be separate sets for both July and August.

Well I did pick up 5 ACs this month.

But there's 9 within my criteria on this August list too LOL....!!

Not good 😬. Will need to cull my desires
:ROFLMAO: I'm with you.

I also ordered five ACs this month, but since I quit collecting chinese airlines there is nothing much left for me within NGs (monthly) selection except a PSA L-1011 and other classics every now and then.

Pretty bad releases I must say considering there’s nothing from Europe, Oceania, Africa… those regions do exist after all.

On the plus side, as an American collector, the Minnesota Gophers 737 is a pleasant surprise along with the Stargazer. The 1:200s are the same way with nothing outside of the US and Asia — while it’s nice as a collector of the former region, it would be helpful to add in some other regions.

Hehe yeah I've restricted my Chinese airlines criteria (I think 😬)

But this set's a whammy
CZ, HO, MU (old livery/Yunnan Peacock)

Then there's my A330 affliction - @pons399 won't be too happy with my 'new' KE excitement but it's an A330 goddammit 😁.
And the GAs! Though I'd perhaps like the regular one with the 'Wonderful Indonesia' stickers.

I would have appreciated maybe one or two more US releases, I was hoping for a United A320 or A319 this set. But as someone who also collects models from Japan, this set and many of the previous sets have been disappointing. They have only focused on China and Korea mostly and barely any Japanese releases have came out from them. Afraid phoenix gets my money from their latest set then.

I think Japan would be a great market for NG to focus on. They've done so in the past so it wouldn't be that difficult to give them a release or two.

I don't think they have been repainted, NG is just releasing that version of the livery, before the Panda special livery.
No I'm talking about two different things let me elaborate -
1) B-304U & B-304V were originally delivered in the standard 3U scheme - before being painted into the FISU special schemes they still wear.
2) B-32MV - along with B-32HG (the last Panda Route painted A350 that NG has already released) was one of two fully painted 3U A350s that were sitting around undelivered for quite some time. Both are now marked as ntu - taken up by ET.

They have only focused on China
I'd think these B-focused sets are clearly a response to the fervent backlash NG has been receiving in China - with the home market collectors complaining that they've not been releasing enough Chinese material - as @miaoyimiaozhongl was mentioning in another thread.

So I'd actually cut NG some slack, as they're clearly stuck between the devil and the deep sea, as the proverbial saying goes.
