No no it's not about the 'number' of releases.

It's that NG have never released a regular ANA scheme on their 777s, 788, A320, A321, 738, 739 - and in spite of ANA being majorly popular and instant sell-outs, and always in high demand.

ANA also does not operate the 737-900

If its not about the "number" how are you then able to determine that there have been more special ANA liveries than regular liveries?

Please stop. This model was released like 4 years ago (and don’t correct me if I’m wrong). In all cases it’s sold out since a long time ago.

Also, NG making 4 times the same config 787-10 or 4 times a L-1011 doesn’t mean there are 8 models

Right. I stand corrected on 2 counts -
they don't operate the 739.
Yes they released a 738 in 2019

But on the rest more than a dozen counts, the statement holds 💁🏽‍♂️-
No 777-200
No 777-200ER
No 777-300
No 777-300ER
No A320ceo
No A320neo
No A321-100
No A321-200
No A321neo
No 787-8
No 767-200
No 767-300
No 767-300ER
No 767-300F
I think I've made my point 🤣

One would have imagined NG to launch their 787-8 mould with the ANA 787 launch liveries - none surprisingly! But Av400 went ahead and did so.

Phoenix and JC are the only manufacturers making semi regular Japanese models and the issue is that both have middle of the road quality or just high prices
Especially Phoenix. Recently got their ANA 77W JA795A and got really disappointed by the inaccurate colors and again their old 777 mould. JC wings could have been a good alternative but it seems like they don’t mind making it in 1/400 even though the 1/200 sold well

The original point was widebodies, and that there have been more ANA special liveries than regular for widebodies.
Which is false.

You can twist the facts and change the position all you want to make your point if it is constantly changing after being proved wrong.

Nah
Just because it was released 6 years ago, doesn't mean it wasn't made. For your information, it was made 6 years ago.
Also JA901A and JA902A have a different config than JA891A and JA893A
So are they magically all the same model then?

ANA regular livery
  1. 787-10 JA893A
  2. 787-10 JA891A

  4. L-1011 JA8522
  5. 787-10 JA902A
  6. L-1011 JA8517
  7. 787-10 JA901A
  8. L-1011 JA8509
  9. 787-9 JA890A
ANA special livery
  1. Eevee Jet NH
  2. Pikachu Jet NH
  3. R2-D2
  4. Star Alliance JA875A
  5. Star Alliance JA872A
  6. Kimetsu no Yaiba
  7. Future Promise 787-9
  8. Future Promise 787-8
You just proved my point. That’s three types of plane in the standard. Most of them are all re releases. NG COULD be doing the -8, the 767-300, the A321neo, the 737, the 777-300 and -200 and other older plane types, but they haven’t. They are only releasing the -10 and L1011 as well as that ONE -9. A plus the special liveries they keep releasing.

Especially Phoenix. Recently got their ANA 77W JA795A and got really disappointed by the inaccurate colors and again their old 777 mould. JC wings could have been a good alternative but it seems like they don’t mind making it in 1/400 even though the 1/200 sold well
Yeah. I’ve really only trusted Phoenix on their 787. My JC ANA 772, (in the 2020 Olympics special sticker, which was the closest to the standard I could find on a widebody) is a great model I would say. Best part about JV is they make ANA Wings planes too, namely the Q400

No ANA 777s or 787s, A320s or A321s, or even 738s! Quite surprising.
@swagninja84 this is my original statement.

I have no idea what you are talking about man. Why so ballistic buddy

There have been only 3 regular wide bodies (and only two of them are still in service). If you consider duplicates as other models, then you are wrong (unless there is a noticeable difference between these configs)

JA901A and JA902A are the same config
JA891A and JA893A are the same config
Moreover, these two config are very similar in terms of window config, cabin and destinations and none of them are special or "unique" (the 787-10 at ANA is a very basic aircraft, unlike the flagship 77W or even their 789 and 788). As you all may know, I’m in favor of releasing the same aircraft if it is a different config but this shouldn’t be prioritised over realising another aircraft of this airline. Moreover, in this case they duplicated the two same config twice while they didn’t make other aircrafts of ANA, which makes no sense! If they had already released the 777s, 788… but also other models from other airlines which have yet never been made by NG, then yes they can consider making a duplicate

I think the point that is trying to be made here is that the releases a lot of people want are standard livery 787-9’s and 777-300ERS - workhorses of ANA’s fleet that people commonly fly on or spot. Yes it can be shown that in the post-covid years that standard livery 737’s, 787-10’s, domestic 777’s, and an L-1011’s have been released along with the Future Promise, Pokémon, Star Wars, and Flying Honu jets in great numbers. But what some people are looking for (including myself) are standard livery 787-9’s and 777-300ERS which have simply not been released for a long time, no matter what way you look at it.
