So you prefer when the front is flat and not accurate?NG once had good 777s.
I prefer to have something that at least somewhow looks like a 777 which I can't say of their new 777 from ever other angle than side on.So you prefer when the front is flat and not accurate?
What did you suggest and how does it looks like a 777? Please explain how does NG old mould looks better and represent more accurately the 777 than the new one.I prefer to have something that at least somewhow looks like a 777 which I can't say of their new 777 from ever other angle than side on.
Did you try what I suggested in a recent discussion?
I think I suggested to take a 767/777 model - we all agree on Panda having the best 767? - copy that cockpit artwork and decal it to both new and old NG to see which one looks better. What did you suggest
Seems like a good idea but how do you do that? What do you mean by copying the cockpit artwork to decal it?I think I suggested to take a 767/777 model - we all agree on Panda having the best 767? - copy that cockpit artwork and decal it to both new and old NG to see which one looks better.
If you don't have any 3D-scanners at hand, do it old school: clear masking tape over the cockpit, draw along the outlines with a fineliner pen (ideally with steady hands and a watchmakers loup), transfer tape to a sheet of paper, scan it into a drawing app and either vectorise or redraw it. Print it onto decal.Seems like a good idea but how do you do that? What do you mean by copying the cockpit artwork to decal it?
I don’t have the ability to print decals. The most practical way for me is to hand draw the cockpit windows directly which I often do when I don’t like the manufacture printing but this is not 100% accurate. That’s why I decided to edit NG official pictures. As an owner of some older NG 777s, I think this nose is dogsh*t and is precisely the reason why I stopped buying their 777s. The revamped nose is a step in the right direction but still not great. Panda nailed section 41 on their Delta 763; a 777 mould with Panda's 767 nose would be the gold standard IMO.View attachment 48222
Who find this realistic and better than the new version? (this is not about the printing)
