Amazing how they can announce a release so quick, yet I keep reading it takes months for a release to come to market 🙄
Seriously @pommy80 what are you on about? They pre-announced a future model using a photo downloaded from the web. Anybody could do that at anytime? What does that have to do with it taking months for a model to come to market?

Everyone complains when JC Wings do what NG just did. They haven't made the artwork yet, they haven't done anything at all!

It takes at least 4-6 months for pretty much any model to be ready for shipping, outside of exceptional circumstances, and if you're working with a 3rd party who isn't the actual brand releasing it'll be longer.

This just goes to show NG could make release choices on a dime if they wanted to listen to their release criticism…

Like I say everyone complains when JC do exactly this because they don't know when the model will appear. NG obviously constantly work on what they are making and no doubt have a release plan at least 6 months out from now, but within which they can drop the odd new model.

If the models sell, and aside from anecdotes from collectors with no actual stats I haven't seen much suggestion they don't, then if I were them I wouldn't listen too much to the criticism either ;)

This will undoubtedly be a high-demand model anyway. The Delta A350 specials sell and by announcing it, they "reserve" a few preorders from collectors who want the NG version, rather than Panda/Gemini/whoever.
Indeed. Especially because Gemini will probably announce they have the “official” one coming, this at least tells collectors who know to wait for a better one. And unlike JC at least we don’t need to wait 1-2 years sometimes for “future” releases” rather just a few months.

Just frustration Richard. They can announce a new or future release so quickly if it appeals to them, meanwhile, many models on then CRP that have been pre approved for production, some well over a year now… and nothing. Just shows you what a waste of time that is.
