NG Model 1:400 July 2025 Release Hints

Stargazer and 747 house are nice, but the rest of this release is unremarkable to me. A fantasy B- TriStar is just the icing on the cake... lol.
BRO! 😎 It’s almost like they made all the metal for a real TriStar release and then something happened and they just made a fantasy Chinese one instead. Either way a fantasy Chinese TriStar is like an insult considering the possibilities they’re sitting on for real airliners.

Seems like we’re starting to get somewhere for US collectors. Perhaps NG is listening to at least that audience after all…

N80 has to be the Golden Gophers livery. N40 should be the prototype 747, later becoming N661US for Northwest/Delta. N14 will be the Stargazer.

The lack of European releases is disappointing although unsurprising. I suppose if enough of those folks make a stink about it like last month, they’ll throw in one to please them. Maybe the Transavia retro will be next month?
I bet the N80xxx 737-800 is the Golden Gophers livery as well, although it'd be excellent if it were a standard livery Sun Country 737-800 (won't be).

I wonder if we'll see the American TWA Retro Livery 737-800 in an upcoming 1:400 set since that was also released in 1:200 like the Sun Country Golden Gophers livery 737-800 was.

Well considering I have at least 4 ACs to pick up this month, this smaller NG set is welcome - though there's still at least 4 up my alley:
1) MU A330
2) GA A330
3) CZ 772
4) HO 787

the B-7--- 77W is probably the Shanghai Museum special scheme - not sure I'll pick that one up

Never imagined I’d feel zero hype over NG HLs, but here we are… Maybe I’ll get them if they’re absolutely, 100% flawless. Unlikely.

While I'm not so excited by the HL new scheme A330 - it's after all an NG A330!!! 😅
And that fuels my interest - considering how top notch their A330 moulds are.

Besides, I absolutely adore that airframe family - just makes any livery look great.
The A330 is amongst my favourite-est airframes, so I try to collect as much as I can get within my 'extended' criteria LOL.

Once again unsurprisingly not many American releases - and I note Phoenix model prices in the US just rose by $4 each.
They just announced quite a few N models for 1:200, so the tariffs thing can’t really be much of excuse for lesser N- reg releases 🧐
