NG CRP Requests

Very few people signed up for those, but I assume NG made them because they’re Chinese. Wouldn’t be surprised if some of the “approved” models aren’t made while Chinese and American ones with less votes are.
Once again it is almost certain that these two were in the pipeline well before the wish programme began. There's no great conspiracy here

I would also agree with your statement. And it is also worth mentioning that making these Star Alliance are relatively simple since the livery are largely identical and very small modification required (needed a logo change only) and viola we have new models. This is in line with manufacturing strategy imo and it makes sense that NG makes them. Many of the CRP models have not been made before and it would take a long time for the correct illustration to be created.

agree with @YesterAirlines & @quanng
Star Alliances are an easy-do, and given NG's recent release history, unsurprising, though absurd it may be.
Also, whether we like it or not, they're extremely popular, just like Qatar is, may be not represented amongst the vocal few here on the forums.
Having said that, while the CA Star Alliance is marked as 'Released' I'm surprised that others that have been released - such as the AF 77Ws, are not.

AF 77Ws were not from CRP requests but requested year ago. However F-GSQI should be marked as released since it has been request on the website

It's still confusing with that Qatar 777 retro, which has antennas but said to be Lite
They're clearly listed as 2 separate items with 2 distinct part numbers on the NG website - see below - so not sure what the confusion is - aerials etc aren't the point in this case as the conversation is about whether it was announced as a Lite prior, which it was - nonetheless one can see the Lite has low or inadequate colour accuracy (as @Phantom pointed out in an earlier post) and print quality and details (or lack thereof) - that are very apparent in the photos.
We can speculate on why this is perhaps the longest delayed NG release yet, and why a Lite version was announced later and released soon after, while the earlier announcement is still marked 'delayed' - but that's a separate conversation. The point is whether NG announces the 'Lite' versions prior - and yes, they do, and they did for this A7-BAC Lite as well.

'Lite' releases are clearly marked by NG in their release announcements and release artwork - so there's no surprise there
I'll say it differently this time.

When i voted for some of those releases in the request site, I did not expect them to be released as 'Lite' items. I would expect them to be released as regular items. That is a bit of a surprise.

They also are labeling some of the items we voted for as 'released'. Does that mean that now they have released the 'Lite' version they are off the hook for a regular version?

that's another bit surprising to me.

All of this, I totally agree with you on.
Yam Dreaming as a Lite release is a bummer. I'm sure it was very clear we wanted a regular release. Unless, because it was the first ever NG release way back in 2018 when the company was launched - though marked as a sample at the time (curiously it doesn't show on their database though) - NG decided to not release it again. Which is unusual, considering it has re-released a few models in the past.

We didn't vote for 'Lite' versions

PH-AXA though, is marked as a regular release

Call me petty but with the way people are voting, I hope they make these eventual re releases as lites. Do we seriously need more of the Heart Southwest liveries?
