NG April 2025 Hints

I’ve been dreaming about a 7636 model for 8 years… No way they’re doing another run, and one just happens to be 36 😱

Seems like these are a response to complaints about 44’s engine logos. Awesome to see that NG (seemingly) still cares.

pretty annoying (and extremely frustrating) when you think about it.

This is like a re-run of the D-ABYT fiasco. At the time, I was forced to duplicate my purchase to get my hands on the corrected V2 with the rectified plastic cradle. My copy of V1 had 3 aerials missing / pulverised in their long journey to here. Besides of course the batch artwork errors.
These are expensive models!

NG may end up doing a re-run of HL7644 after a few months - going by their history. Will I buy that V2 (again)? No, I don't think so. I'll live with the V1 error - which is a bummer. considering how long I've waited for this reg. Only to end up with a flawed model. Sigh

I honestly have zero qualms despite having pre-ordered 5(!) 44s. Yes they’re now dead weight, but there’s hope NG will finally nail it on a more significant reg (for me). But I totally understand how frustrating it would be if you’re not as madly obsessed with the subject matter…

Re-runs unfortunately seem to be the norm for NG 748s, first editions always have some sort of issue. Only the LH new liveries were fine from the get-go.
