Thoughts on the haul?!
Just stumbled upon china eastern ones by undefined collectables, which I can only assume is on that mould.I wish GJ/JC would release more F100s. So many cool liveries awaiting their turn.
I feel that Gemini Jets is a easy to understand generalization to describe these models aircraft, similar to how Kleenex or Hoover is used in place of a tissue paper or a vacuum cleaner.Title says "8 Geminijets unboxing" but, in the end, only half of them were actually Gemini. Is the keyword "Gemini" that popular?![]()
Maybe if the audience is someone who doesn't know anything about model aircraft, but this just comes across as uninformed and pandering for views.I feel that Gemini Jets is a easy to understand generalization to describe these models aircraft, similar to how Kleenex or Hoover is used in place of a tissue paper or a vacuum cleaner.
Gemini Jets doesn’t deserve that much credit these days…Maybe if the audience is someone who doesn't know anything about model aircraft, but this just comes across as uninformed and pandering for views.

I understand key words for clicks but I think it’s a deserves to imply the whole hobby encompasses Gemini Jets even when they’re not the premier brand in 1:400 in terms of quality right now.Meh, I'll have to disagree. I believe "8 model airplanes unboxing" would have similar or even greater viewing results when compared to "8 Gemini Jets unboxing"
For casuals, GJ is synonymous with model aircraft. Other major brands don’t have the history and name value, while the new Chinese ones are irrelevant internationally.Title says "8 Geminijets unboxing" but, in the end, only half of them were actually Gemini. I do agree with you about the brand recognition but bigger is not always better and that certainly holds true in reality. I wish I had been educated sooner on higher quality brands that were more niche and wish I had access to information that allowed me to make more informed decisions beyond the facade of Gemini Jets. For casuals, GJ is synonymous with model aircraft. As a kid, I remember seeing GJ ads all over Airways magazine and thinking they were the only ones who made “quality” (i.e. better than Hogan snapfits) models. Only found out about Phoenix, JC, Inflight etc. once I really started digging.
Tbh I don’t trust the good-brand-bad-brand distinction as much as I used to, the “good” ones dropped some absolute stinkers this year. It’s more like bad to mid for the most part, with some rare gemsI wish I had been educated sooner on higher quality brands that were more niche and wish I had access to information that allowed me to make more informed decisions beyond the facade of Gemini Jets.
