To be honest I think the gear length issue is being overstated. It is minor and certainly better to have slightly taller than the too short gear of the JC mould. I note also that the JC nosegear door is too small and the HX too large:

I don't think it is being understated. It is noticeable in person, but I don't think is actually that hard of a fix. These are all plastic gear vs JC being metal castings. I do agree that the nose gear door is too large. With the flaps down versions, the long gear actually works because it looks extended as they would be when not on the ground.
 
latest releases were still messed up? :(
At least on the photos of the Geministar EVA Air 744, they looked fine. Will know for sure when mine shows up 🤞.

Anyone know when these HX models will be released? Hopefully within the next two months 😬.
