LegacyJets x FinalApproachCollectibles Future Release

Correct,

We have a predominantly younger crowd here at MAF, so resistance to higher prices is normal and expected.

I myself got priced out of the hobby once before. It was not until my third year at an airline that I felt confident enough (financially) to get back in the hobby full-time. With age, collectors stop looking at the price tag and start looking at the actual product. I see this as a collector myself and as a retailer. Make something good, and people with the means will buy it at a premium; make something bad, and you can't even give it away.

As many others have said, it is imperative to see the final product.
Older collector here, not worried about the price. The American Eagle peaks my interest.

I put together some thoughts of my own about the pricing, after giving it further evaluation and reminded of another new brand:

As one of the younger collectors that partakes in the hobby, it’s unfortunate the pricing has gotten to be this point. I still feel that $62 ($55 with the discount) is beyond reasonable for a regional jet, and I say that because we don’t know what the hard product looks like. If it looks good, I’ll retract some of my concerns. I had similar concerns regarding V1:400 and their releases, but considering the hard product on at least some of their products look really good, I’m willing to overlook that to an extent. I do want to acquire them cheaper if possible; going internationally, I fear, will force me to pay whatever difference in shipping since I know those are priced a little lower in other countries. I know new brands have a lot of expenses to them, so in that regard I understand trying to make back as much of that as possible, thus the higher price points. As long as the hard product looks excellent, then I can rest easy in knowing I’ll get what I pay for.

Back on Legacy Jets, I still look forward to seeing how the regional jets and the narrow bodies turn out. I plan on getting the Avelo, hopefully for a little less than the ~$57 price tag with discount, if it turns out great.

I'd absolutely agree with you with just about everything you said there. I want to get the American 175 and Avelo 737, despite their high prices, and I nearly pre-ordered both of them at a snap. However, I realized I should wait for production photos. These are currently on the top of my priority list if they look good, but I'll be uninterested if they do not.
