That UAE 707 is a super cool release! TWA 767, Eastern 747, Caribbean ATR, also great ones. Interesting stuff, I just hop to see the finished models soon instead of waiting a year or so :ROFLMAO:
The Eastern 747 will just use the BigBird mould so I would much rather see the HX 747 on it.

Don't buy the TWA 767-200 @LeoMuse747 - trust me you'll regret it:

This is also part of the models you're making in collaboration with *some brand*......?!!
The 3 Saul Bass 762s you've been telling us about.........

JC's recent releases are so uninspiring to the point of irrelevance.......?
Most are on the weakest moulds amongst the competition....besides being made before...
The 707 choice of release, while exciting in itself, is dampened by the fact that both of the 707s released last year by JC had terrible QC.........
And the Caribbean ATR - such a lovely scheme - but the cockpit windows misprint can be seen in this - besides it being the companion release to the ATR from last year.....
The CAAC An-26 - I mean yeah okay but there's like literally ALL those other CCCP and Soviet Bloc releases that can be made......
The CI 789 - their first ever Dreamliner - is perhaps a premature announcement - but will probably be the last one to make it to the market - and I'd rather look for another brand to make it

I’m just sitting here patiently to secure a ton of the Ethiopian Max’s. I still think it’ll be next years until they finally come out. The good thing is that it’s on the updated B38M which is actually isnt bad. Knowing JC, it’ll have messed up printing. 🫠

Lufthansa A320 and that UAE 707 are coming my way for sure once they come out, probably in a year 💀. I've been wanting a Lufthansa A320 in the old colors for ages but could never find one. Shame it is on a JC Wings mould tho

Unfortunately the Virgin Australia E295 seems to be listed as a 'future' release. In other words, don't hold your breath. I guess we'll see.

Frankly, with JC - doesn't really matter whether it's marked 'Future' or not - quite a few models from last year (!!!) not marked as Future haven't appeared as yet either...............

Basically the rule of thumb for JC releases is:

It has photos of the models - 3-6 Mths
It has artwork of the model - 6-18 Mths
It has a photo of the real aircraft - 12-30 Mths

What’s going on with JC? They announce stuff that they don’t release for years sometimes, and HX and others just completely eat their lunch

As of recently, they've been making pre-announcements of what models they plan to make. Unlike the other manufactures, JC is taking many months to even a year in some case to actually put the model into production. I think many of us don't really have an issue of pre-announcing stuff because I'm pretty sure all the major manufactures do it, but JC is the only one that takes egregiously long.

Is it just a production capacity issue? NG and HX don't seem to have problems shipping released models in a timely manner. Does JC still share capacity with Gemini? I wonder if that has a lot to do with it.

There are 14 models in JC's October set, but only 4 will get to market before March and two of those have poor cockpit printing. A lot of the future releases are on either old or weak moulds, but there's a couple of gems still here.
