This actually looks like quite a good release from JC, seems like they are the first to the market with the new Qantas 'Pride is in the Air' livery, although god knows when it will actually arrive in stores. The United 747 will be a stunner, and I hope we can see JC making more of these classic 747-400s. Your thoughts?

Yep more classic 744s, more United Saul Bass! And hopefully NG release VH-EBL soon Coz I ain't going nowhere near that JC A330. Likewise Hopefully PH release the Kuwait Govt A345 & Panda the KLM 733 & 734 - cause those two moulds aren't really great either. I don't get the IB re-release so soon - wish they'd picked up some other classic scheme - AA silvers and United Saul Bass amongst others - BA Negus & Landor, Aer Lingus, JAL classic colours (they were launch operators of the 763 so that's long pending anyways), Lufty 767, Condor Retro 76W, CZ, a Varig classic cheatline re-release on the 763 & a 762 would be nice too....

Your thoughts?

The United B747-400 looks great and it's a beautiful release.
Not really sure about the rest... quite repetitive, to be honest.

Why another Iberia 767, National 747? These have been released before.
I agree with @planes_on_a_shelf , there are many other interesting options...

The Kalitta 777 also seems too premature in my opinion

Nothing for me, but hopefully this is a sign they'll start using the new -400 mould a little more. With the lack of competition and the sheer number of available schemes, they'll quite literally be printing money.

Aside from the united 744 I'm quite happy about that KLM 737-300 release. The only other 733 release in this livery has been impossible to find for the last 5 years.

I’m picking up the UA 744 and IB 767.

Like you this KL is hard to get but am wondering do I really want a JC version? Might Panda not come out with one in the future? Can one see past the nose high 747 of JC?

Didn't Iberia operate only two 767s? I am sure some collectors will be happy to have them both. The mold is nice, the livery is nice, the more the merrier. BTW, I think there are more than one "duplicate" 767 from JC coming judging by the hints in some of the boxes.

Just seeing the Italy Airforce A345 pictures - they've messed up the printing. That horizontal streak is out of place and the windows are way too high up the fuselage - messes up the sleek appearance completely! Ugghh . Definitely not going near this one. Hopefully PH make this in the future. I hope they don't mess up the Kuwait one - but anyways would prefer PH to release more A345s and A340s in general. Many still to be made!

Meh, disagree... I believe the amount of collectors who would pick both just for a reg change is quite minimal for the Iberia 767.
Still would have preferred another 767 in a classic livery. Martinair and Condor in the 1980/90s colors still weren't made in 1:400!

Ordered the UA flaps down as well and reluctantly ordered the KL737. Has anyone fixed the front gear on the JC 733 so it doesn’t look tail low?

Yes, I did it on my model! I bought a blank JC Wings and made a custom Transbrasil 737.
I've removed the nose gear and sand it down, so it would become shorter.

Here's the result.

Wow that looks awesome. That's the way the aircraft should sit! Slightly tail up. And love the job on the Transbrasil! Could you offer some tips on how to do so @LeoMuse747 ? The only reason I'm refraining from buying recent JC 733/734s inspite of the subject material is because of this nose up problem.

Thanks!
If I remember well, the nose gear fall out quite easily. Just try to swing it from side to side using your fingers and gently pull it off.
