Golden A350?

Hello everyone,
I found a group of golden Aiation400 Airbus A350 at airlinemuseum.com does anyone here know what's the story with them, like why were they made.

It's just a show off of technology. Surprised its still on sale cos it's very limited and only sold to the so-called vip shop customer in China.

These golden models are nothing new, they existed some 20 years ago. I would never consider having one lol

I'll never understand why people buy these golden models... They stand out like a sore thumb.

There was a spate of them about twenty years ago, of all kinds and airlines. Affectionately knows as 'bling releases' amongst the collectorate. I never really understood their appeal.

I think that they used to be pre-production model which had small quantities of them so they became rare. If they weren't rare samples I have no idea why they were made.
