I also add this comes with another MSRP price increase…

A321s are 66usd
A330-200 are 73usd
777s are 78usd
A380 is 90usd

dumbfounded and i’d hate to pay those msrp rates AT ALL…

Not surprised with the tariffs but I can assure you that the Gemini/JC A321 is not worth $66 nor is the A330-200 worth $73 on such a poor mold. Unfortunately, if these molds don't improve, I could see JC/Gemini being outclassed in the market given the competition at equal and or better prices with better quality. This has always been true but at some point, the price will get high enough to break the camel's back.

Prices aside this is a really bland release set on majority of the worst molds Gemini has to offer... Looks like Pheonix is capturing my attention better than anyone else.

This price increase might just do it for me…at least unless it’s an essential buy (USAirways, etc) I cannot justify spending 66$ on a 321 unless it really truly is perfectly molded and 100% accurate.

NGs MD80s for example? sure i’d begrudgingly spend 66$ on that…not much of this from gemini personally…

I don't want to have to pay $66 for a Panda or NG A321 but if I had to I still would. Not a chance would I buy an equivalent for Gemini at that price point. At this price, this further reinforces that Panda, NG are in a total class of their own even with their own respective issues. I would say the Gemini A321neo mold is worth maybe $40 with the quality that you're getting even in today's market.

Curious to see the A330-200 mould. Haven’t seen that one in a while from GJ. That being said, the prices are indeed absurd. In my mind a regional is still $38, a narrow body $40-45, and a wide body $48-55 tops. That was the pre 2023 era though 😬 I wonder if prices will come back down after the tariff situation resolves. Currently can’t buy anything from HK due to an over 100% tariff tax.

These prices are outrageous, but this release set disappointed me the most due to the lack of a United Express release which I have been waiting four years for. If Gemini doesn’t release United express soon I might have to give 3Ddesigndeck even more of my money

The issue with these price increases is that once prices go up, they rarely ever come down because the market adjusts to consumer expectations. They may come down a little but I'm not crossing my fingers that they will any time soon.

I could say the same for almost any regional carrier new and old.

To follow-up on that point - Let's say Tariffs become more manageable 3 to 6 months from now, I still don't believe you will see a significant price drop as this will become the standard and baked into consumer behavior. This goes for all business in the economy not just model airplanes. If a consumer is forced to pay your prices (Especially in leisure consumption) why would you lower them once they're increased? You wouldn't and the longer this drags on the more permanent this will be.

I would say they are already being outclassed.

Once I visited a McDonalds in NYC and paid nearly $20 for a big mac meal. Never again :ROFLMAO:

NGModels should learn something by Gemini: a batch of news well varied, Icelandar A321neo for me. Not only China...

Charter that is complete nonsense. There are 8 releases here. 3 have been made by NG Models already and another 2 have been made by NG already with minor variations. Outside of those 1 of the others has been made twice within the past 6 months on far superior castings by other brands. AND the model you want to buy is on a mould that is straight up bad. The only thing varied about this set is the Israeli 777 and even Gemini have made that before, albeit on an old mould.

This is a worse set than the NG release you were upset about except that it has one model you want and you don't care about the quality of the moulds you buy.
