Phoenix June 24 Release

CX 330 and KE MD11 are nice, but I'll wait for someone better to do them. The former will probably never happen and Panda might do the latter, but I'm willing to wait...
NG's already released a CX brushwing A330. Was a pretty under-the-radar release, but you may still be able to find one.

*Edit: Nevermind, just read the posts above 😅

Not to be that one, but there have been plenty made in that livery. The new colours on the other hand…
Sorry for reviving this thread, but is there any reason why? I've seen a bajillion Cathay Dragon, Dragonair, and old cathay A330-300s, but can't find a the new livery anywhere. Hoping there's a re-release or something lol

Now that they've ordered the 339, I guess it'll be inescapable 😅 (4 years away though)

Yeah lol, just hoping that someone (JC maybe, with their outrageous number of Dragonairs) makes the A333 again.
Frankly given a choice - I'd love NG to make these - they have the best A330 moulds - JC's is way way below runner-up PHX's. I'm guessing now that NG have figured a workaround (and thus releasing their long awaited CX A350s) - it'll be great to see them release those gorgeous Dragonair specials and of course CX in the current livery. They did release B-HLC - the first A333, upon its retirement (of which I have a copy) and thus, will patiently await their turn.

That's true. I mainly pointed out JC since they've made 4 plain Dragonair's in the past 4 years, along with a bunch of the special liveries (which I agree are beautiful). I find it quite odd how they've done so many of these but haven't bothered to do another new Cathay. Of course, NG or PHX would still be my go-to if they actually existed ;)

Haha yeah that's true.
Hopefully those Dragonair specials figure within NG's understanding of 'classics' - I'm assuming there's also going to be high demand for those within the broader local /Chinese collectorate - besides of course their wider international appeal.

JC's were probably made ages ago and lying in their warehouse - considering they were around much earlier, it was curious for them to release these Dragonairs only recently
