I found 2 Heavy Diversions at Sacramento International Airport (KSMF) on Tuesday! We have a United 777-200ER in the Evo-Blue livery arriving from Munich and a Virgin Atlantic 787-9 arriving from London Heathrow. Bay Area weather on that day was terrible so these 2 had to divert here. So cool to see these land at a Midsize Airport like SMF! A rare moment to say the least!

Wow Amazing Catches . I have a question . Did they bring them into the Gate at SMF? The on Wide bodies SMF gates for planes are Delta 757 and Hawaiian Airlines A330

Landing is no problem even at MLW. Take off weights could be slightly restricted pending on weather.
