Great news fro Rome FCO airport. By May 2026 Alaska Airlines Group will start direct flights from Seattle - Tacoma airport to Rome "Leonardo Da Vinci" airport through its controlled Hawaiian Airlines.
We will really see the amazing Hawaiian Airlines B787-9 at Rome FCO? I hope so.

Finnair A321ceo. Like Swiss International Air Lines, Finnair snow-white livery is something i love. Here a Finnair A321ceo is climbing over the Mediterranean sea just after takeoff from runway 25. These pics are very nice because took at about 15 km far from my position and only the Nikon P1000 superzoom and the great power of this camera allowed me to catch this beautiful bird.
Wow what a great surprise at FCO: Korean Air performed the flight to/from Seoul with a t'way A330-200, just ready for departure for the return flight to ICN airport.

Air Europa accepted Turkish Airlines 300 milioni euros offer to buy 26% of Spanish airline. In 6-12 months Turkish Airlines will be one of the main Air Europa investors without having the majority of steaks.
Turkish Airlines goal is to have a free gate to Latin America destinations, now only eight while Air Europa flies to about 20 destinations in Latina America.
Turkish Airlines is the major European airline for airplanes in fleet (386, Ryanair 332) and also one of the world best airlines. Just 58 airplanes for Air Europa with 28 among B787-8 and B787-9.
The problem is that Turkish Airlines is part of Star Alliance while Air Europa is part of SkyTeam so, most probably, the Spanish airline will change group.
EU antitrust has to decide if the operation is ok like It happened for ITA Airways - Lufthansa fusion.
