Another pair of new DC-9 additions are both PSA examples replacing the RetroJets examples I already own and joining a third Aeroclassics. PSA acquired a pair of new DC-9s in 1967/68 partly for use in a pilot training school agreement with Douglas, but this didn't work out well and PSA decided on 737s instead. Both had left the fleet by mid-1970. The DC-9 returned in the 1980s when they acquired 4 ex-Air Canada examples to facilitate expansion plans in 1983. All four would go on to USAir and two would survive long enough end their careers in 2001 with US Airways. The three models here are N982PS, N901AK and N708PS.
