A review of the long awaited releases 1775795454260.png

Aero Polaris, NG (Ultimate ver), JC (flaps down)

Packaging:

They probably try to complete 1775795454260.png The box looks nicer than a regular release, with opening top.

NG comes with a super hard magnetic box and shrink wrapped. If you get yours without wrap most likely it’s been opened or used.

But somehow even NG has the strongest box and shrink wrapped it has a dent under the wrap  Not sure what happened. It looks like the super hard material and shrink wrap are no use. Besides that NG and Aero come with extras like booklet about the airline’s 80th years history or tarmac printed on cardboard. I’m surprised to see JC and Aero arrived without issues especially with JC the boxes always beat up.

Aero: ★★★★★ (mint-mint champion)
NG: ★★★☆☆ (shrink wrapped but dented corner)
JC: ★★★★★ (mint-mint champion)

Details/Quality:

All three’s green color looks very close and doesn’t look like one is noticeably darker or lighter than other. Maybe JC has the most accurate or actual shade from the airline if they made the official VR-HOP. Overall detail is decent on these.

7.jpg
NG seems to be the shortest of all, when it’s put against the tail of the others.

And JC’s tail seems to be the roundest on the top part above the silver leading. It has a very delicate and extra detail (marking) on the tail:

I also like darkness and the detail of the cargo door imprints on the JC than others. The NG seems a little too light

Aero’s suffers with a cracked tire 1775795504735.png

Aero: ★★☆☆☆ (cracked tire)
NG: ★★★★☆
JC: ★★★★★ (extra detail)

Conclusion:
I think these are selling out fast 1775795454260.png If you prefer flaps JC is the only choice now. NG comes with the nicest looking box but suffers with a dent under the wrap, but my Lufthansa 748 Yankee Tango Ultimate and China Southern A350 18th Game Ultimate are flawless without factory wrap. The rubber material on Aero's tires feels softer than JC or NG and probably easier to crack.

🏆 goes to JC. It has good detail, good paint quality, and ONLY version with flaps down now

Interesting points, but out of the 3 JC has to be the weakest. The mould in itself is inferior, the cockpit printing is poor and the green is by far the least accurate compared to the real thing, it is too green and to dark. None of them quite get the shade of green correct (all too dark) but Aero Polaris is the closest with their turquoise shade. Both Aero Polaris and JC missed the white outline around the green stripes on the engines. For me overall the NG wins.

To each their own. I compared them in the flesh, and bought the JC Wings, which I thought was the best of all the offerings.

I've recorded a video on this topic for next week. However this reads rather oddly all round with some very selective scoring. I mean the starboard side engine on the JC is clearly not fitted correctly and JC's cockpit print is always poor.

From a mould perspective the JC is miles behind the other two and for this aircraft in particular NG is the only one with the correctly sized winglets as they have used their old wing, whereas the AP and JC as far as I know only come with the modified winglet form, which this frame is not fitted with.

Also the packaging of the JC is so inferior to the other two so it may have been mint but it is inferior.
