Critical Aviator 1/400 collection

Air France Cargo Boeing 747-228F N18815 in the delivery colours by Aeroclassics/Blue Box. This aircraft was first delivered to Air France Cargo in 1974 with this N- registration. It would later receive a French registration in 1982, F-BPVO. F-BPVO flew for Air France Cargo until 1991 when it went to Cargolux as LX-DCV. Cargolux leased the aircraft twice to Atlas Air which acquired it in 1996 and re-registered it to N809MC. Atlas Air also re-engined the aircraft from its PW JT-9Ds to GE CF6s. The aircraft served Atlas Air until 2009 when it was stored at the Roswell Industrial Air Center. It has been broken up in 2011.

Lovely model! Also quite curious to know she was re-engined when operated by Atlas. They did this to some other 747s aswell
