Critical Aviator 1/400 collection

Pan Am Boeing 747-121 N732PA 'Clipper Storm King' by HX. N732PA is the third 747 ever built. It was used as a testbed by Boeing until July 1970 when it was delivered to Pan Am were it flew as 'Clipper Storm King' until 1980 when it was renamed 'Clipper Ocean Telegraph'. It flew for Pan Am until 1986. In 1989 it went to Evergreen as N475EV where it was converted into a freighter. In 1991, it was involved in an incident when the aircraft entered an uncommanded right wing down bank, during which it lost over 10000 feet in altitude and passed the sound barrier, the flight diverted to Duluth and landed safely. In 1994, it was acquired by Tower Air and re-registered to N615FF where it flew until July 2000. In August the same year, it was acquired by Kalitta Air to use as a source of spare parts.

Thank you! Interesting read. If I remember well, a DC-8 have also flown supersonic in a dive during test flights.
