Can you use a silver polishing cloth to polish model planes?

So I'm aware this sounds very stupid. I just thought of this after receiving a silver polishing cloth for a new baritone. But do you guys think a silver polishing cloth can be used on model planes?

I think so, just be careful with antennas or other potentially delicate parts.
