Hello every one i was looking at scalemodelstore.com when i saw this:
three new BigBird400 747

this is a bit of a boring livery in my opinion but still an interesting model

Iran Air 747 EP-IAM 747-100
this one is very much disappointing i hope it would be in the 70s livery and not in the boring 90s livey that was made by AC just 2 years ago

i hoped for the Air New Zealand 70s livery 747, but still not a bad livery might be getting this one

I hoped to see more classics livery's than this batch.
I hope that JC will make more in the near future before NG 741/742 are released.

This is excellent news! The Air NZ will be a welcome addition to my collection, and I would buy the ANA if it was in the Mohican livery. Now my fingers are crossed for a Qantas 747-300!

Here are some better classics 747s that should be made in thre next batch (i hope the next one will be in May)
1. Olympic Airways SX-OAD/ SX-OAE 747 in all of the livery's that they had

Olympic 742s were frequent visitors to Melbourne all the way up to the airline's demise. I'd love to see one released by either BB400 or NG to add to my collection.

I only have one Olympic Airways 747 in my collection it SX-OAA i got it last year for less than 85 dollars.

A little dated, but still very good. Much much better than Phoenix (the only other active 747 classic mould)

Absolutely fantastic releases! So good to see more non-Phoenix 747 Classics being released in 2023!!!
While we keep waiting for NG, these are surely very welcome releases.

I like how the basic 3 engine options for the 747 Classics are represented here:

GE CF6-50 for the ANA
PW JT9D for the Iran Air
RR RB211 for the Air New Zealand

No all-around proper representation of this iconic livery/type combo has been produced in 1:400 scale... Only a handful of efforts that are all mediocre on some respect.

The liveries and moulds are of no interest to me, but more Classics being released is a good sign NG's 747s are coming soon. Fingers crossed for a Pan Am delivery c/s.

Between this and the activity from Phoenix surely has to be an indication that something is cooking in the classic 747 department. If an NG version is soon on the horizon then I wouldn’t be surprised if we also saw another run from Aeroclassics using BB blanks, to get a few more key classics in. Interesting times.

That Air Zaire 747 is one of those missing key classics in 1:400. A perfect release subject for AC as well!

Hey All. I obviously haven't posted here for a while but seeing as the ownership has changed I thought I might test the waters. I have spoken briefly with the new owner so it will be interesting to see what he has in store for the site.

Anyway. This trio of new BB Mk3 747s are interesting and BB Mk3 has been rather enigmatic so people tend to forget they exist. I don't think these are a reaction to NG in anyway as they fit the usual release pattern from BB. In this vid I discuss them and the history of this brand with a look at their previous output:
