ALL NG 'Future' 1:400 Release Announcements (Rednote / Instagram / website / etc)

Or are they just doing exactly what they said they would do all along - releasing models from the wish centre which is exactly what it is for. That Hawaiian A321 is a wish that is at least 9 months old just like @planes_on_a_shelf said. They are listening, but not to 'feedback', they are listening to the wishes in the wish centre that was setup exactly for that purpose.

They've released 24 wishlist models already from a wish centre that started in October and didn't have any approved models until at least November. Given production times for a 400 scale model are easily 6 months they've actually done surprisingly well.
That was my request from NG

Bets on when NG will announce this one. Per the news all of Hawaiian's current and future 787s will be transferred to Alaska and painted in this livery. Personally it gives off euro-budget airline vibes and without Chester something feels off.

Yeah quite disappointed with this
Both Alaska and Hawaiian have such distinct identities

Especially Hawaiian with their distinguished history and livery and operational, design and staff culture. Besides the striking livery.

Hawaiian shouldn't have cancelled their A330neos - they'd have received them by now and the airline needn't have been sold over.

I believe using the Aurora on the new scheme was the right call given how symbolic it is in representing the state of Alaska and Pacific Northwest. I do believe moving away from Chester allows Alaska’s branding to grow into a more globally recognized brand. The only issue I have is they decided to use Euro white and we can all agree we have too much of that.

It's not any more white than the current livery.

Chester and the Pualani aren't going anywhere.

I don't think A330neos would have prevented the sale, they had 900 million of debt, if it wasn't Alaska, it would have been someone else, or worse. The A330-800neo was not what they originally wanted, they were cornered into it by Airbus.

BROS 😎 I really like the new livery if they’re trying to make a more globally appealing brand image. What I think is dumb is that they said it’s only for the 787. So the airline will have two standard liveries that are very different in tone and look like products of different decades.

I agree they should make the whole Alaska fleet the same given that this is the clear goal for the company. If they could learn anything from Delta is that you don’t mess with brand continuity if you’re trying to represent a premium brand. I.e. no special liveries unless there are very specific circumstances.
