Airline News

They could have just added some colour to the engines - just - and this would have been a little bit better. Maybe silver, or dark blue. Or red.
To compare, Jet2's new livery works so well with the coloured engines - in spite of a similar monochrome metallic fuselage

- Pepsi logo back, with an enhanced design but still featuring blue and red
- Silver swooshy line separating the blue and the white
- "Air" still stays on the fuselage

there you go, a good modernized Korean Air livery. I'm a big fan of this new blue they're using, it was a nice choice, and I also like the new typeface for the "Korean".

BTW, now they have unveiled the first 777F in new colors, and it doesn't even feature the word "CARGO" 🫣🫣:sick:

Actually, I agree on all your suggested modernized design points!!! (I'd still like some colour on those barenaked engines tho)
Now let's suggest this to 'KOREAN' . . . . . . .

Yes, we are witnesses of a complete change in civil aviation world with the farewell of airplanes with a "soul", leaving all the space to NG families like A320neo and B737 MAX. In my opinion this transition is even more dramatic for Boeing iconic airplanes like B747-400, B757-200 and -300 and B767-300, like in the past it was for the DC-10, MD-80 and L-1011.
Not the same feeling for Airbus A340-300 and A340-600 because they did not have the same impact on civil aviation world but just some random important presence with some iconic airlines (for example Edelweiss and Air Tahiti Nui A340-300 or Lufthansa A340-600).
