1:500 fleet.

Cubana Il-62M CU-T1280 by Herpa.
Basic mould but nice and much better than some Herpa latest moulds like the A350-900, for example. Maybe Herpa could have produced more airlines using the Il-62.

Starjets produced this marvellous Singapore Airlines B747-400 "Tropical livery", registration 9V-SPK.
There has been much controversy over the appropriateness of producing aircraft models that have been involved in tragic accidents. In fact, Boeing 747-400 9V-SPK, flight 006, in October 31th of the year 2000 crashed into construction equipment during takeoff on a closed runway at Taoyuan International Airport (Taiwan). 83 people died and 71 were injuried.
Personally speaking i don't think that producing a model of a crashed airplane is an offense for the victims and the families because a such tragedy like an airplane crash is so immense about real life that can't be associated to a small piece of plastic and alloy.

9V-SPK might have crashed but that Tropical livery is stunning.
I don't think making models of crashed aircraft is offensive to the victims and their families and friends either. If anything, the model can honour them. Sometimes the subject matter makes it impossible to avoid crashed aircraft. And let's not forget that technically, any aircraft which there is a model of and is still flying can crash.

Hi to all.
During Amsterdam Fair Mr. Kulgen (Herpa) said that about four E195-E2 models could be planned for this year ("are in development") and, according to this rumor, to the airlines using the model and to the airlines Herpa Is in confidence with, the four models should/could be:
Binter Canarias
Helvetic Airlines
Royal Jordanian
Luxair

Then Lufthansa: all the "100 Years" models Will be produced, including A320neo, B747-8i and A380 (B787-9 and A350-900 already announced). More Lufthansa models in regular livery Will be produced especially in the second half of the year because the priority Is for "100 Years" special livery.

Other Centennial liveries:
American Airlines B777-300ER "Flagship" already announced, B737-800WL N840NN planned.
United Airlines A321neo N44550: maybe, Herpa Is waiting for United Airlines go.

Here we are with the amazing LATAM Ecuador A319-100 HC-CPR "Ecuador Flag". This airplane flew for LAN and then LATAM in original livery before to wear the Ecuador Flag on the tail.
We can find all the flaws we want but i suggest a "minute of silence" for a tribute to this model: in my opinion LATAM narrowbodies are a MUST in each collection (like Latin America airlines) and i have asked for these small jewels since about more than ten years! Finally 1:500 collectors got this little masterpiece...great Herpa!

It's great but still is a case of Herpa releasing a special before releasing the regular colors. This is very annoying specially for those who have model airports and are waiting a regular colors model to be able to begin the regular flights in the airport.

I remember when Herpa released 2 or 3 Azul A330-200 in special livery, but never released the one in regular colors. 🤬

Yes, I agree it's great to see Herpa releasing a South American narrowbody and finally giving some attention to this region, but they basically do their work incomplete when they go for the specials and forget the regular.

I remember that in one of my many "not-so-happy collectors crisis of the past" even you told me to "be happy with what Herpa was releasing...". You are right, of course, and so many times i argued with Herpa and with other collectors about the opportunity and necessity to produce models in current regular livery before the special liveries. But with Herpa this Is a nonsense so...Happy with LATAM narrowbodies in special liveries but always hoping for the regular ones!

I guess it depends on the situation, but I was always against when specials were released before regulars simply because there's the huge risk of the regular not being released at all. Herpa did this many times. Alaska Airlines is a good example. There are many special liveries released but Herpa still didn't release a B737-800, 900ER or MAX in their regular colors. Aerolineas Argentinas is another one: Herpa released the 737-700 LV-GOO in Retrojet colors but simply forgot about any other 737 in the current livery.

LATAM A319/320/321 regular livery are among the many airlines never produced in 1:500, along with easyJet, Ryanair, Wizz Air, Southwest etc because i started to collect 1:400 models too. In fact i bought LATAM Chile, Argentina, Brasil, Ecuador, Peru', Colombia (operated by LATAM Chile) A319, A320 and A321: same livery but different registration and this Is beautiful in a fleet. All regular livery, of course.

LATAM is 400 scale is an example right now. For some reason, the only narrow body releases with the new livery are AC, and the rest are LATAM Brazil. There literally nothing with their Chilean regs that has come out recently other than their 787 or 767.
