What's going on with Phoenix Models?

This year, 2026, has been extremely quiet for Phoenix Models. News is becoming increasingly scarce and only obtained through forum users on Chinese websites (I still don't understand why they don't create a dedicated news site for their customers); releases are incredibly late (we haven't had any new models to buy for almost three months now), and, in short, I have the feeling that something is amiss with this company.

I hope I'm wrong, but it smells fishy, and it's nothing like the consistent activity they had in 2024 and 2025.

Hopefully all is good with them. The last couple of months back in 2025, their release was also slower than usual too. Hope that with the move of the factory, production can resume to normal. Could @DTcustoms also make some request to Phoenix for someone Singapore Airlines release if possible?

Perhaps PHX should focus on its real strengths - like the revised A300s, il-62s, amongst others for now - the 747s demand a completely new tooling so that's a kinda long shot.
Definitely agree. A new A300 is a welcome addition, and their IL-62 mould is top-notch. Phoenix doesn't have many competitive moulds anymore aside from unique aircraft that other manufacturers don't have moulds for, like the IL-96 series, IL-62 and until recently the A340-500 / 600.

Re-releases of the il-96-300s would be fabulous and surely popular - and newer generation of collectors can then have access otherwise they're difficult to find in the seconds market. Plus there's possible new production of the il-96-400 so yeah
and if PHX does a few minor tweaks of their A345/6 perhaps, they'll be back on top again - as HX is clearly struggling with those

I heard that because PH is relocating its factory, it will take longer to produce new products.
(This is just hearsay; I'm not sure if it's true.)
This is accurate

I agree. It's pointless asking for Phoenix to improve their 747s, especially when there is already a glut of 747-8s on the market. Phoenix has been doing well with the Il-62s, Il-96s and A300 moulds, plus some decent MD-80s

The only strong point of the Phoenix A345/6 is the nose from the side profile; the cockpit window print, gear height and shape of the nose is superior to the HX mould. But in all other respects, it is vastly inferior to the HX mould. The entire shape of front and nose is incorrect from the top, and the wing sweep angle is inaccurate. Not to mention, it is far less detailed.

For it to be competitive, Phoenix would have to create new wings and a new fuselage barrel with an updated front section. At that point they might as well make an entirely new mould.
