V1:400 Models - A New US 400 Scale Brand

It's been a long road, but I am excited to be able to finally announce the new 400 scale brand I've helped create - V1:400 Models. Who are they, what will they be making, when will they be available and what moulds will they use? Watch now to get the answers!

Could we see some JA reg 767’s? I would love to see JAL, ANA, and Air Do 767s made in their standard livery. Useful for Hawaiian and Japanese airports.

Nope sorry. MotorCityClassics focus is US releases at the moment.
@YesterAirlines: That's really reat news! Will the models also be sold in Europe, especially Germany?
I hope so. I'm talking with a variety of European retailers so fingers crossed.

Begging for a US Airways 762 please! but I think this is where those saul bass hints and others kept coming from. Very Exciting none the less, thanks for helping to choose good to great moulds for these products. Let’s see how they turn out.

any other hints or sneak peak photos from the factories you could share yet?
I swear Richard has told people to hold off a United Saul Bass 767-200 and a TWA 767-200 cuz there is a "better one" coming soon so perhaps those are going to be some of the first releases in regards to the 767.

The return of the AV400 727 mould is most welcome, as I personally love the mould more than the current AC mould despite the inferior nose section. Hoping to see a Delta widget 727-200 or an American 727-200 on this, although I would imagine we would be getting something more obscure than those.

Either way I am quite looking forward to what comes from this company, and although American aircraft aren't particularly my cup of tea, I might be tempted to grab a few if its on the lovely AV400 727 mould.

I am currently contacting retailers in relation to getting them onboard, but obviously I would hope plenty of US retailers will stock them. MCC usually distribute from their US warehouse and have a retailer network of their own, but given the current tariff situation it may be most of the models ship to retailers from Hong Kong.
I run TexanAirplaneStore with Nick. Could we get in touch to work out the logistics of becoming a V1:400 retailer?

Message me and I'll fill you in
Good news for US collectors at least. Just a shame they will be near impossible to get elsewhere, especially with the shipping costs. Hopefully this project succeeds so they can eventually expand worldwide.
They won't be near impossible to get elsewhere. I'm talking with stores in the UK and rest of Europe. If you have stores you think I should be contacting and have contact details for tell me.

I am chatting with someone who might be able to sell some in China

A Delta "as delivered" version would be great as nobody has done that except for that tiny AC release, which was the same registration that crashed at DFW. That one is so hard to get now that I've actually contemplated modifying my GJ bicentennial by putting a decal over the logo.

Exciting news. I am hoping for some 80s era. Sunworld DC9s! Perhaps Midwest Express and Midway. Would love to see Pride Air 727s both 100 and 200. For the 767 maybe a fantasy Western Airlines as they had them on order
Yes to Midwest Express and Midway DC-9-10s as they both came into IND.

Also, Midway, Presidential, and Braniff II 737-200s.

And a Florida Express BAC-111. And this might be a real stretch, but Britt Airways had two BACs that ran on an ORD-IND-EVV routing...

I'd love to see some 727-200s, 767-200s and 767-300s in the United Airlines Saul Bass and Battleship Grey liveries on these modern moulds.
I'd also love to see more A320s and 737 Classics using the Panda Models mould in 90s-00s US carrier liveries (Northwest, United Saul Bass / Battleship Grey, US Airways, etc.).
I second this ^
